Hello World.
Ha ha , I couldn't resist that one. After all , programming is my profession (read: Hobby) . I left India on the 29th of July (My home state was bifurcated into 2 regions as we began our ascent) and reached Cincinnati on the 30th. It was an entertaining journey on Air India , and I watched 6 movies back to back. Seeing the clouds for the first time from above was a was a wonderful feeling :)
Contrary to my expectations, Cincinnati was nowhere close to what I had imagined it would be. It was not filled with skyscrapers, it was not full of people, and more importantly, it was not cold .(YET) . I was provided temporary accommodation at two places ( Thanks to all the people who made my stay pleasant).
I finally moved into my apartment on 7th, with Yuvaraj, Arun and Abhilash. What a feeling it was, to be some place HOME finally. College started on 26th, and we had a couple of orientations along the way. My team and I won the "Best Communicators" award (Thanks, Hope Schneider) in the communications workshop.
We (International Students) had an trip to the Ohio river, and lunch on the boat ( where i accidentally ingested a small quantity of You-Dont-Want-To-Know-What from a vegetarian's point of view) . It was an enjoyable experience as we traveled through the downtown area of the city.
We also had a Ropes Course(Team building Event), where I got to know people from various teams, and nationalities. It was really worth it, and I had to walk blindfolded on a tightrope (a few inches off the ground, of course :P )
I bought a new laptop (Acer Aspire V3-772G-9829) , a Targus Drifter II backpack, and a Sony MDR-ZX100 headphones. Everything is expensive in USA ( He He, Dollar to Rupee conversion mode is still on).
Met old friends and made new friends here.
I went to the International Friendships Inc , where I met several american friends. Had a great Indian meal there , and that night, we saw the fireworks celebrations at the university. WoW. I also met with the University president Santa Ono there ( He was very Cool :) )
The library at UC is the one I loved the most :) There is a large (read: HUGE) collection of reference materials there . We can even borrow projectors (he he, picture my wicked Grin) , cameras, and Laptops (miniature ones).
I speak to my family twice a day (on SKYPE only) , and so far, i feel comfortable. Hoping for the best :D

Coding till exhaustion !
Hi Guys,
I have successfully created 8 Blackberry apps within 2 days, sitting at a stretch . ! Tough work , but considering the returns expected, it is worth the effort :D In the final phase of creating 4 more apps today , and then will come the actual task of submitting them to the vendor marketplace ! Lets see what happens .
Meanwhile, I saw a traffic constable chasing a thief today. They ran past me in a flash, and it took me a few moments to realize that the guy being chased was a thief. They quickly took a turn at the corner of the street and disappeared from sight !
I , Vamsi Krishna , And Ganesh Gangarajula had a midnight bout of CS and i thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the game.I slept at 3 am !
In the morning, while I set up my music system to listen to Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum, I had a conversation with my dad . H told me that he had bought his first radio (huge one with to big woofers) , the very same one that greets anyone who visits our hall , and that there had been license at that time to possess a radio ! Unbelievable, isn't it ? To have a license for a radio and pay an yearly fee , or risk it being confiscated ! Thank god, we are not living in such times.

Passions !
Hi Guys,
I had a great time coding today ! Learnt Blackberry application development right from the scratch. Discovered the insanely useful bbui.js that aided me in building 3 apps in a day. Yeah, 3 apps today, though "far lesser" than my initial estimate of 5 !
Apart from the fact that i couldn't go to office due to an upset stomach (Are those Hajmolas to be blamed ? I popped in two packets without remorse yesterday .. alas, a childhood addiction :P )
Mentally preparing for a goa trip (starting on the 10th of Jan) .
I am exhausted , I did almost nothing else apart from coding today ! I desperately need some water, and some exercise for this body. Hmm , I did remove my fully grown beard though , now my chin looks naked and awkward for the eye.
There were several funny events that happend while i was coding. It is from a technical viewpoint, so I wont be sharing it here , but i did spend a couple of hours today resolving syntax errors ! Hopefully i should be able to double my pace and build 6 apps tomorrow :)
I couldn't write my story today, neither could i write a few rhyming lines. My guitar lay untouched, and so did my phone. Only my 3 Tb external drive and its predecessor, the 2 Tb drive , made contact with me. I am addicted to the "Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum" song - not the whole, but a few exciting parts.
My mind tells me i can descend into a new world , constantly writing , pouring my thoughts onto the paper or screen .My body tells me it is too late in the night and i might already be delirious. For now, i'll go with the body's version. See ya tomorrow folks

The 31st of December ? No Big deal !
Hi guys,
Guess how my day started today ? I woke up earlier than usual (by my standards, of course). Sat in front of the PC, searching for some content on Blackberry applcation development. I have challenged myself to finish atleast 10 apps by the end of this week , so its gonna be hectic for me :D . Aaah, whats life without a bit of challenge anyway :P
I decided to observe and jot down a few things i saw. So while I sat in the bus, instead of writing my novel as I did regularly, I peeked out of the window for a change. The first thing I saw was a playground, at 8 am in the morning, teeming with university students doing their warmups and playing cricket. It would have fileld me with some usual envy of not being able to go and play there , but today was different. I saw a guy with a single leg , playing cricket . Astounded, I watched him for a few seconds , and realized that his spirit was not marred by his absence of a leg. Yeah, he was doing Captain Dhoni's job, but still , not many teams have the open mindedness to include a player with different abilities . That brightened up my mood for the day .
A few minutes later, as the bus passed by a cowshed, where a large number of cattle are fed and bred , I happened to notice an ox, staring hard at a crow. The crow was walking up and down a railing , as if it were a Philosopher musing in deep thought , before it finally settled on the ox's back and gave it a nudge. I could have bet there was some symbioic communication there !
Our bus halted at a traffic signal , and I watched the intersection as the people passed by. Suddenly a pair of really small girls, maybe in their second or third grade, started running across the road. There was an RTC bus driver , watching the signal as he was the first at the intersection , but taking no notice of those kids.He was drinking water thankfully, or else it could have resulted in a major accident ! The kids and the drivers should be extremely careful !
I fell asleep after a while, and when I woke up , I was nearly at my office. I quickly adjusted my bag, and gt down the bus as usual. When i neared the ckeckpoint inside the gate, i realized that my phone was not in my pocket. Having lost a mobile nearly 2 months back in the same office bus, i was jumping to conclusions this time :P i hurried and went out, only to find that the bus had already left. I asked a security guard to ring my mobile, while I took my bag and went inside. I had a hunch that I might have wrapped it inside my hoodie. I unpacked my bag and there it was, in silent mode !
Relieved , I walked fast and decided to go from a different path than usual. I unexpectedly met my Delivery manager there, who gave me several tips on confidence, posture and attitude .. The conclusion was "Look in the eye , it convinces people of your intentions".
Office was pretty normal today, the only deviation being that i had forgotten to eat my breakfast. I had asked mom to pack me corn flakes and milk , and my stomach began rumbling at around 10.40 am. I quickly downed the cupful f flakes and the glassful of milk, getting relieved of hunger temporarily. I did complete a significant portion of my office work today , before venturing into Blackberry application development at the end of the day.
Not so boring after all , right , that too being the last day of the year :D Well , there's more .
I did write about 3 pages of plot while returning home. I also slept again for the most part of an hour, waking up just 2 minutes before i reached my stop.I did muse of several things philosophical , but I'd rather wait and edit a few drafts of what I "thought" , or people might think i am delirious :p Came home, did manage to glean a bit into the workings of Blackberry apps. Finally started writing my blog so that I might have a remember what happened today. Hoping for more observations tomorrow :D

A photo for a photo ?
Hi Guys ,
Its been a long time since I have written anything besides code, my novel and my application essays . Yes, i did write quite a few poems , about 62 in all , but I haven't shared them with anyone outside Infosys , so that doesn't count.
This was supposed to be just another regular weekend, where I would be sitting in front of my laptop and playing a few bouts of CS online, then go back to TV series mode , and finally sit down to code at the end of the day.
What actually happened was my brother was leaving to IIT Kharagpur and my family was shifting to a different flat. 2 months ago , I had booked a ticket in IRCTC and also ordered an alienware m17x for him . The plans went haywire when the person bringing the laptop from US arrived a day late. I had to battle for tatkal tickets, and finally, after being placed on wait list no 1 for nearly 12 hrs, his berth was confirmed in the sleeper class by the Indian railways .
I just got a glimpse of the sleek and awesome alienware while I sat beside him to unpack the contents for the first time. An unruly gentleman (gentle ? not even close ) , scoffing and shifty eyed, sat right in front of my brother. My father tried to speak to him , to make an acquaintance , but the man grunted something incomprehensible, which later turned to be Howrah ,Calcutta. My father , quite concerned that my brother was taking valuables with him alone n the journey ( i meant the alienware) , took a pic of my brother, and then the guy , just in case. He had an experience long back, when thieves struck in the compartment he was traveling in. I was watching both the man and my dad with silent amusement , when the man took out his phone as if he were making a call , and clicked my dad's photo. Nobody except me noticed, and the man quickly started playing songs on his phone . :P When i came home , I told my mom and dad that the guy had clicked dad's photo in this "tit for tat photo scheme" and we all had a great laugh :P
Later, when i called my bro and brought up this incident, he laughed and told me that the man had spoken to him about my dad taking his photo. He had also informed my bro that he had no intentions of taking any of his stuff :P All of us had a laugh again , and finally I decided to write about this so that I wont forget such comedy :)

Updates From my side
Hi ppl.
The only reason i am not blogging here is because of my other blog in the Infosys Intranet. I have been writing poems lately, almost 60 of them till date, which i soon plan to post here. I have developed many things in these few months :D including an ear for melodies, an "eye for a Melody" and my novice guitar skills.
I wont divulge anything now, but everything is just awesome ! My prep is going on, smoothly, fastly, and more importantly, focussed prep. Of course , weekends turn out to be a disaster , but i manage somehow !
In fact, if it had not been for my multi tasking, i would have done absolutely nothing in the day :P ! But thanks to it, i read, i play, i write, i listen, and i anticipate ;)

Day 0
Started the day with a dream ! it felt awesome , but 5 min after i woke up, i forgot most of it !
Not the first time this actually happened . So many academy award winning action sequences seem to be racing in my head , but none of them survives the first 5 min. And of those which manage to survive , only a fraction of originality remains !
I have decided to start clean (again) , this time more seriously than ever before. My new Guitar, my japanese classes , and my "study" stuff all have resurfaced again, and "i " shall try to be less egotistic from this sentence onwards !(yeah, even for a personal blog)
The Dell XPS , my faithful and uncomplaining companion for almost 2.5 years fell down from the table , cracking the side of the screen. All for the lack of attention, i wonder !
Dell XPS sat on a table tall ,
Dell XPS had a great fall ...
Rhyming Sucks ! (In general , pessimism sucks !)
My mobile has made up its mind to hide all the contact information behind its broken display , and is unrelentingly lazy. It even refuses to switch on !
Apparently , all my electronic devices seem to be wary of me and my presence ! My creative earphones , the really awesome 1200 bucks worth ones , suddenly malfunctioned and only one earbud works !
My graphics card fan seems to have taken a vacation to "blow " away its responsibilities !
My hard disk's practicing music - some sort of "screeching is fun" genre !
And my speakers , they seem to stop suddenly in the middle of a song unless someone kicks them from the side !
And so does my trimmer ! The battery wont charge when i attempt it , and when i finally give up trying after 15 min , it starts charging !

Maybe i could conjure a character who suffers from excess of this ! Could be funny. But i need to think of a good storyline .
Coming to books, finished windmills of the gods in around 6 hours , and it was a pretty interesting re-read after a long time ! I m going to read some Sci-Fi soon, so wait for updates on this !
Guitar is awesome too. Practice takes up a lot of my time , but i have to keep it up ! Maybe someday , i hope to play guitar songs that'll make the computers write code themselves ;)
Fancy idea right ! Remember that's mine !!

The end of engineering ~ era of entrepreneurs !!
Yo ppl.
Been a really long time, isn't it. I know. I know. But this time (hopefully) , i am really really free !! I Finished my Computer Science and Engineering course successfully this week !
Here are two languages i learnt :
~ learnt the "f" language !! {for beginners , use 'f ' instead of 'p' }
~ learnt using { heavy , lite }
what of the changes in my Engineering :
year 1 : Lots of Books + dandruff { :P }
year 2 : Lots of Anime / Tv series + low marks
year 3: Lots of management + became fat
year 4: Did nothing (except proj work) + tours :)
I assure you this might give some "summary" sort of thing for my Engineering life...
Where should i even start ? From my first year ? When i didn't even know who my fellow classmates were ? Or from the second year , where i was all of Naruto and One Piece ...
Nah, lets take this somewhere else.. I'll introduce you to the characters in my engineering :)
And here's the final disclaimer :
ALL PEOPLE AND PLACES MENTIONED IN THE BELOW ARTICLE ARE FICTITIOUS AND FROM MY PERSPECTIVE . INDIVIDUAL OPINIONS AND VERSIONS MAY VARY
Day 0: Orientation Day : Saw a bunch of loonies at college.. Durga Prasad, some colonel guy ... felt nothing at all.. :)
Day 1 : ~ College bus . Saw a 6 foot guy with a bag in the back seat. Thought some lecturer, but turned out to be Srinath !
Day 4 : ~ Ragging starts .. I m spared coz of my dialogue { i told i want to get 90% ~ greeted by sarcasm }
Day 7 : ~ Had to safely guide a girl to the bus stop ..{turns out to be Ramya} ....
Day 15 : ~ Classes start {Ramesh Babu , Tirupathi Reddy, Satya , blah blah blah is all i remember }
Week 2 : Stupid stuff ! college is weird ! Get a call from NDA ... Decide to forfeit it for my Engg {maybe ... but somebody told it was height problem}
Week 3 : still stupid stuff .. ramesh babu sends out randomly sampled bakras from the class !
Month 4 : College still remains the same. I know more ppl from the other classes than my own class mates ...
Oh GOD, this chronological order's too hard to recollect...
Year 2 : Got a reasonable score.. No ragging {anyway} ! Become great friends with Srinath ... His house is now at Mallapur...
Month 2 : Visit his house and see an episode of Naruto ... AWESOME !
{i watch it even now, though the guy dropped it off long ago...}
Month 4 : Hear of some guys named Deepak , Ganesh ... Coz the Deepak guy starts sitting beside me !
Sem end : Marks drop .. Attributed to bad luck ...
New sem starts : Only serials ! Heavy F.R.I.E.N.D.S , Pushing Daisies ! Sem finishes !
Year 3 :
Start hanging out with most of the people in our class ! Know more people from our class than CSE B {hopefully }
jump from NIIT in this year only... Faculty are even lighter, subjects are murky !
Then comes TechZeal... Rips out the CAT nerd and brings in my extrovert characters :)
Make a whole new bunch of friends !! {and a lot of good enemies too, from other departments}
Manage to go to Chennai { heavy beach + mahabalipuram}
Manage to go to Goa { ~ purpose : techfest ... can you believe it after what happened at Chennai !} Discovered the most beautiful beach of goa, complete with a sunset package..
Had a near death experience ... fall from the Ghat Roads !
Came back to Hyd. BAD . Year ends.
Year :4 ~
Final year . No classes... CAT prep. Get a paltry 96.9 ...
Project work starts... uneventful. .. project work ends ...
Year 4 ends !
~ What of Entrepreneurship ?? ~
GOD ! Thats a secret .. but if you want a lead, then we are preparing for CAT !

Had a near death experience ... fall from the Ghat Roads !
Came back to Hyd. BAD . Year ends.
Year :4 ~
Final year . No classes... CAT prep. Get a paltry 96.9 ...
Project work starts... uneventful. .. project work ends ...

Woo Hoo .. New Year ..
Hi ppl,
Happy New year ! Hope it is a bright year for all of you :)
My last year wasn't bad at all !
I got a new digital camera, and even got selected as a Microsoft student partner, and was under probation till 18th Dec. You can access it at student partners.com .160 points were required to clearing the probation. I scored 340 pts ... :) Very happy on clearing the probation
I also advanced to the Imagine cup IT challenge Round 2. They will be giving me a case study, for round 2. Advancing to round 3 will take me to Poland !!Imagine :)
This is my final year of Engineering, after which i will have to choose either further education or a job. I'd rather go for studies than wear out in a common programmer's shoes. Animation and Web Designing interest me.. but nothing as much as User Interface Design.
I haven't been writing here coz i was updating my new blog "http://thefunnycoder.blogspot.com" . Its a tech blog, where i want to write my experiences, tips, How to's and stuff !
So long for now.

(IIT-Madras Trip) ®
Just as i promised , i am writing about our chennai trip !
Legal terms for reading further.
'our' henceforth refers to the following clients - "Deepak Chaitanya, Phani Challa, Ganesh G, Arun S, and Karthik Racha. Any references to this article outside the blog will be prosecuted .
Our clients have performed activities spanning 5 days , in a land where people speak a foreign language. Their adventures began on a strangely normal day, just like today....
Phani: yo man. Just checked out the IIT site. There's Shaastra from 1st Oct to 4th Oct.
someone: Cool man, will we go there ?
Phani: Why not, just let me check out ....
And these were the statements that created history, as these 5 enterprising young men went toHollywood IIT M , attended workshops, and acted in a documentary. This is their story ...
Original Plan : Phani,Deepak, Ganesh,Arun.Karthik + Kashyap ( he's my IMS friend)
Actual thing : Phani,Deepak, Ganesh,Arun.Karthik
Original Accomodation : 100 /- per person for 5 days @ IIT hostel
Actual thing: Beautiful moon lit sky and night stars + 5 ppl cramped in my IIT M friend Manish's room .(Access from the backgate , with bonus mosquitoes and a beautiful display of firecrackers )
Journey : By Charminar express - 2760 on 1st Oct, 2009.
Enroute , we got into a bus, got down the running bus with our luggage
[arun's trolley, my suntech day bag, Ganesh + Racha + Deepak s Liviyas'. ]
Got into the train at 7.oo pm. Not particularly cold , but it was fresh. Got in. The compartment had 2 other occupants, one north indian and one ( probably) tamil guy.
Arun started scaring them off, with his adventure. He started with the car-scene at Sri Indu and went into Medival history as far as Bharat's village adventure . Good thing they were not complaining !
After a few photos of us here and there , and we were ready to enjoy the night ride. We started scrambling for window seats n stuff, and someone took out edibles [snacks, mind you] .
We were still eating when Warangal arrived, and Racha Racha's ( scientific name for IT karthik)
parents came. Mom bought some home made cakes [ awesome .....] , few water bottles, and the train left shortly thereafter.
From then on, there was no looking back. We were speeding our way to the AP-TN border , crossing the huge expanses of blackness. It was pitch black, and we didnt have stuff to talk or discuss on.
So what did we do ? ha ha. Look ,let me give a hint. I m very new to card games, courtesy the Chennai trip ! Thats what we did ! Pulled out a blanket, spread it on the upper berth, and started playing . I learnt the game slowly, unable to win a single game that night ! I had several close calls though.
As the night crept over, the familiar feeling of sleep crept over us, and one by one, the wickets started falling [ actualy, arun was the first to fall , and myself the next ]. I found out later that the rest of them were near the door, enjoying the night ! [ really ? i thought something else ;) ]
That ended our Day 0 of the chennai trip !!!! No way. That night, at almost 12.00 , we reached Vijayawada. The train halted there for a considerable amount of time, and we got doen to take some pics ... after that, we really slept.

the joy of blogging @ 12 am
Hi everyone.
You probably guessed that this punk is awake at night again ! But you couldn't be more right or wrong ! Paradoxically, i m burning midnight oil ( laptop battery rather !) for studying.
You heard me right ! Studying. I am doing it coz i have lots of competitions ending on OCT 31st , including, but not limited to Aspirations 2020 from Infosys ,Tgmc from IBM and 'thecloudapp ' contest from Microsoft.
Speaking of IBM and Microsoft, gotta say some gud news. I got certified in IBM DB2 fundamentals last week, with a percentage of 90.63 % . And of Microsoft, I got selected as a microsoft student partner (MSP). And as a part of this MSP program, i have decided to resurrect my old blog ... phantomphani.blogspot.com
Lots of things going on in life.. but life's going even faster. I would not count myself as one of those countless people floating away into nothingness, ever blaming all on time or rather, the lack of it.
I hope [ once again, it is a hope] that 2012 comes faster ( the movie of course :p ).
If the pot bellied buddha could bring gud luck , so can my lucky hat !
And oh no. I totally forgot to write about my trip to IIT Madras, right ! Well i had a trip at last to IIT M on the 1st of oct. I went there along with 4 of my buddies, Ganesh, Deepak, Karthik and Arun.
My next blog is gonna be entirely of my days spent there ! And right now, the time is really 15 min past 12 am !

Birthday ;)
Hi .
Tomorrow's my birthday ! turning 21 on the 20th ! Seems strange isn't it , that year after year, we keep on celebrating these "special" days. For some insight, lets draw up a hypothetical situation / debate on the underlying social structure and mechanics of special days
Why ? Why Birthdays ? Why festivals ? Why Special Occasions .? Why at all ?
When you start living life routinely, a sense of dullness sets into place, one which - if unchecked, leads to the dampening of the human spirit and vigor. It is an inevitable situation, unless the person concerned has some hyperactivity disorders.
How does the normal dude deal with all these ! If he finds even the Deccan Chronicle (smug expression) abstract, then how will he perceive the higher planes of social behavior.
Well, there's the wonderful system that induces the feeling of wellness and freedom, apart from the huge doses of happiness and interaction. This is the human way of "rejoicing". The way to escape from that all pervasive dreadfulness called boredom.
As long as there's anything happening out of the ordinary, there's a reason to celebrate. For example (i m sick of these examples), when we score well in exams, we do tend to "celebrate" .
If we didn't , it would push us into the category of , as my friend seriously (to those who can understand) calls" geeks" .
Now, enough of digression, let us reposition/ refocus the discussion on the particular issue of Birthdays.
These are days that you spend with your family, cherishing memories of childhood and in the process of doing this, strengthen the foundations of trust and care that are essential for a family.
Whatever may be the day, it does induce a special feeling, of being ALIVE , of being with people whom you trust, whom you depended on, and those very people on whom your survival was guaranteed !

whoa ! Registered for the CAT
Well, ppl..
Finally registered for the CAT . But you thought it was an uneventful process , didnt you ?
Nothing like that ! We went to the Axis Bank Branch ,Tarnaka ( barely 10 mins from home) at 9.30. Stunned that around 150 wannabe managers were in queue, holding out duly filled forms .. we ( i and 3 of my buddies) silently stood in the queue, almost at the last.
Apparently, the bank authorities thought it was a waste of time to have a single counter, and luckily for us, started another counter at the rear of the queue ..[ -->> 3 places away from me <<-- yay yay]
Lucky .. We took our forms, and i resolved i'd work hard for it ! Lets see ...
IIM A -- Will it be there ?

this is what happened ! stupid !
well, i got up from the stupid floor... i just fell down ... from the stupid bed !! stupid stupid world ! Round from the ground ! I tried to open the door.. but it wouldn't budge.. I looked around .. Everything was looking normal, except the fact that i had no legs !! Aaargh... it was a dream,
so lucid and realistic , i thought it was for real.
That was the start of the day ! Got into the bed again, draped the covers , and hey.. had a great sleep that lasted for hours (or so i felt). I woke up again, determined not to sleep, and quickly put the brush in my mouth just in case..
Switched on my lappy, put some algorithm courseware for download, and started CAT prep for today! Barely managed to do an RC , and got ready. 6.50 am. Started for JBS . Got into a 290 , and got down at Sec-Bad station to get an empty seat !
Finally, after a lot of waiting ( and soul searching whether i had to force myself to do this daily) , a 279 turned up ! After 2 continuous minutes of people "flowing "from the bus, i got my seat, and opened my book. Within a few min, we were at JBS. The conductor got down, but the driver slowly came to me and said ... " Dude, this is a Ladies Special "
Got down from the stupid bus, cursing my stupid luck , [ But hey, there's a reason for everything ..as you will shortly see ] .. Waited for another 10 min, and got a seat in the second 279. And guess what, Vinay was running towards the bus.
Opened my books again, and started reading for sometime till the dude drooled over my books... Had to close them and opened the window for some fresh air !
We got into an auto as usual, but the stupid auto driver wouldn't start. There were 7 of us in the small auto thingy and he was still not going. Just then , an RTC bus came and 4 of the dudes jumped into it ! Should have seen the driver fellow's face then..
One poor fellow was asking directions, and he forcibly got that guy into the auto and started driving ! I guess he must have stranded that guy halfway somewhere ...
<--- What is the moral of the intro ----->
Abstractness and existentialism are not too "deviant" from the incident i covertly suggested up there !
The greed of the auto driver, and his subsequent rage at the instant breach of trust, and the ease with which the guys deserted their former mode of transport , and the subsequent use of "literature" by the driver .. all suggest the deep rooted feelings of existentialism ! Live the moment .. Dont try to save things up for the future..
Abstractness, ..---<> End of Transmission..

yo yo !
hi guys,
My communication skills have taken a huge leap since my first year of engineering. Remember me, the shy guy who never even turned his head, was always serious faced except with a a select few, and never spoke to anyone ... Well, i myself remember it vaguely.
I have changed, , partly because of necessity, and partly for self analysis. I came to realize that, atleast in engineering, you cant do certain things alone, and need to interact with people. It was often "help others and get helped" motto that kept me moving in the first !
But slowly, when i started my introspection, i felt lifeless. Like a common nerd who lives more on tech n books, rather than live life. I stopped myself from getting too involved . The first step was important , the transition from ebooks to cartoons and tv series.
i practically watched about 900 cartoon episodes, and so many tv series. They reminded me well of the fun you can have with people, and i felt my inhibitions drop. I began considering communication "natural" , something you do when you have anything to say !
I started talking earnestly, and actively seeked out opportunities to talk. It was the sense of interaction, that made it possible for me for lead the now normal and complete life.
What i had been doing earlier, for the sake of it, now became something i did for my own- self satisfaction.
I do feel very happy to have a lot of freinds, formal and informal, with whom i share stuff n feelings. And one more unintended consequence.... If i am alone , i prefer silence to music. if there are people around, i detest silence !!
So long.. and do observe me when i speak ;)

Stuck ! Dreams of private heavens !
Hi guys.
I am in deep trouble. I was not managing my time correctly, and i have a lot of prep pending. The statistics are like these ..
50 mock cats
80 class handouts
3 arun sharma books
8 basic reference material
10 practice exercises books
5 test series books
over 18 weeks of pending online tests
lots of quant funda
And these are just ones that are for CAT. the other ones include ..
.Net revision
J2se and J2ee
Silverlight
ruby on rails
php
.. i have 60 days for the cat stuff, after which they are not as important as those in the second category. However, i am participating in the IBM TGMC challenge, as well as Microsoft IMAGINE CUP. Both have a totally different set of requirements, and it would help a lot if these were scheduled after my exams in nov.
Technology is often a bane than a boon. <-- wait for the justification --->
Let me first ask , why was "technology" used ? Because it makes things simpler and easier , isnt it ! So the job gets done quickly and we can go home early.
Is it happening like that ? Absolutely not ! in fact, the amount of work to be done is increasing even more, coz the people are given more thngs as time is still left.
So, instead of removing the stress of thinking up some "x" things, techonology is causing us to make up "3x" things. More stress.
And now those of you who would try to bash me up with questions like ..... " you do use a laptop, dont you ? That is technology" , please stop. I have "boldly" mentioned often , not always..I might seem equivocal, but you surely know which side i am favouring.
I will aslo justify my stance. Nowadays, i am staying back after college , in the college, for approx 2 hrs , to prepare for my CAT. the place, located on the outskirts has absolutely no people at that time. So calm , and the silence broken only by the chirping of birds.
I decided that in future, i will buy myself a piece of agricultural land, have a mansion @ the centre, a small pool , and all the food i want as crops there. It will be my private heaven . Total independence, but not total isolation.
I will be managing my tech work online, and spend a considerable amount of time with nature. .! Lets not dwelve too far into the future... bye for now !

The ways of life...
Hi.
My CAT classes have picked up pace, forcing me into a cramped schedule comprising of my college work, project work, research work and CAT work. It was on one such occasion, that i witnessed a scene , which made me rethink of life.
I was walking on the roads of Sec-Bad in the early morning. Time was nearly 6.17 am, my class was at 6.15, and my ambulatory movements gave me no comfort. Further still, it was drizzling, and i had to duck under a few sheets of paper.
Imagine the empty roads, the steady drizzle, the occasional cycle passing by , and a cool morning breeze. It was enough to make my day bright. As i was nearing my institute, suddenly there was the most ferocious growling noise i heard. Not a single growl, but around 6 dogs , baring their teeth and growling at something.
I was rooted on the spot, trying to decide something. The canines had not spotted me yet, or made a move. They were busy growling. I was almost about to take another path, sighing , as i was already late. Menace of the dogs is quite common here, but today it seemed threatening.
After all, what is more scarier on the roads than a pack of mad dogs at your heel.
Suddenly i heard a human voice amidst those harsh sounds. I wondered how brave the person was, who braved the dogs. I got back my courage , and started walking briskly, fully alert and focused only on the road in front.
Now even the mutts saw me approaching, and it was a do or die situation. I wanted to nod at the brave dude on the road, and looked sidewards.
SHOCK of my LIFE !!
It was a blind old beggar , walking randomly on the street, unaware of the dogs till he came close enough. Now he was also scared like me, probably even more, and was frantically kicking his legs in the air, shouting at the dogs.
The dogs themselves were still menacingly rabid, growling at every motion of the man.
Suddenly one of them came sniffing to me, and my adrenaline was getting pumped up !! I couldnt leave the poor dude for the dogs. I was already late anyway. But if left alone, he was bound to kick one of the mutts and end up being bitten.
I was still wondering what to do, when a milk van came out of nowhere. All the dogs suddenly stopped, and the man hopeessly turned in every direction to get a sense of what was happening.
The driver had apparently thought the man would walk away, but there was no movement from him. All 3 of us were subconsciously aware of an accident that was about to happen in a few moments. Didnt know what to do, so i shouted at the man to move.
No avail.
The driver suddenly turned his vehicle aside, missing the man by a couple of inches, and in the process, crushed a poor mutt under the front tyre.
Gruesome .. I couldnt bear the sight. The driver stopped and started to yell at the man. I called to him and told the driver he was blind. All of us were silent. Even the dogs. All of us were looking at the mutt under the tyres ,, except the blind dude.
There was nothing to be spoken anymore. The blind man continued , kicking in the air, unaware of what had happened. He still expected some dog, and i couldn't bear his helplessness.
It was strange. Should i pity the blind beggar who still kicked in the air.
Should i pity the mutt that lay dead ?
Should i scold the driver as he could have hit the man.
Should i laugh at myself for going there in the first place.
No avail.

Time Constraints ... Blogging addicts
Hi.
Guess i should be consistent in posting things. I was actually a bit "busy" ...Well, actually i was procrastinating, and i have got nobody to blame.
Really, clearing the conscience can bring a great amount of relief, as i observed several times in my childhood. I am totally honest with everyone only because of my experiences. If i have anything to comment, i do it directly on the face, all my opinions are direct, and i always tend to forgive n forget.
After all , I have more things to do than bearing malice to the society. In this regard, i will say one last thing -- I think the society ( atleast the one closely involving me) can be convinced with reasoning.
I make friends with everyone, no doubt, but i do tend to linger more with those who have similar thoughts, habits or patterns as i do. This actually enhances the degree of understanding we have with each other, building up trust, and of course, the much needed competitive spirit.
There have been a lot of unfortunate events recently in the circle of friends i have. Some of them have even met with serious accidents.
For instance, consider Sanga Nikhil.
He was slated to go on a tour, but fell victim to the hazards of 2 wheeler travel.
He had an accident resulting in a broken nose, a clot in the head, blackout for 2 days, a bout of fits, and continuous medication in the hospital.
I wont condemn or exalt private transport in 2 wheelers, but i leave it to your own discretion whether or not to embrace such a hazardous( in the present road-congestion-accident viewpoint) mode of travel.
My project is nearing completion. Letz hope it rocks...

Cricket...photoshop..and still in One Piece
Hi friends
I browsed till 3.30, when my mom scolded me for spoiling my health. I had to surrender to the threats, pretended to switch off my laptop, (but it was still running) and went meekly.
I turned off the lights and slept till 5.30, then happily found many songs finished downloading.
Notable among them are 21st century breakdown(by GreenDay) , Red Hot Chilli Peppers (thats the band name dudes !) and some songs of Beyonce.
I detest rock, pop etc , but the ones i heard were not in that ' outrageous' category. Not likable either. Especially that Beyonce stuff. They were wacky..
Then i started w3schools, concerned that i had to complete my mini project. I still have to create flash banners , design the web pages, create an ajax chat client, and integrate it in my project.
But first, i had to finish the few remaining One Piece Manga episodes.
I read them quickly, and then remembered I had to play cricket with my friends.
I hurriedly cooked 2 omlettes, hot and spicy, and ate them.
The weather was surprisingly cool, and my friend came right to my house to pick me up. I quickly got down, got on his bike, picked up anoter friend on the way, and drove off to the ground.
It was a multitude of pitches, none of them physically separated of course.
One team's fielder was in others territory( as if they existed) ... nevertheless, it was quite interesting to play the matches.
I finally began sweating from the effort, nearly an year and a half since i last played with them.
All this happened by 9.15. Racha Racha dropped me near st.no 8, and i reached home by 9.40. I had a quickie shower, sat down infront of the lappie, and started tutorials. Today, i was a bit serious in reading, and managed to complete the template creation part of it( learning ).
As i said earlier, i started Photoshop , read through a lot of tutorials, and SLEPT !
Again from 2.30 to 4.30 in the afternoon, i slept. And i woke up from Basha's call.
And i have decided to go to College tomorrow ! Just for checking out the situation on Mohanty n his ideas abt our mini project.
Then i worked on photoshop, started tutorials on css again, got the impulse to write the blog, and here I am.
SO the remainder of the day, ie .. from 7.30 pm, will be nothing but an event in the history ( nice story.... will write later..maybe tomorrow)
BuhBye. I plan to devote this time to my photo manipulative soul.

Midnight Bandwidth
hi buddies
How do i say it. From today on, if i don't mention anything about my waking up, take it for granted that i burnt the midnight bandwidth !
Hey, that's a great term, don't you think !
"Midnight Bandwidth". Let me guess. This post's title is dynamically changed to it.
I downloaded great scenarios and maps for AOM. Umtimate obsessiveness. But i love it this way. Know why ?
It is this feeling that makes me enjoy the day, and also makes me sick of the game so much that i dont play it again. To my advantage. This is a very common strategy i employ. Some of you might find it strange, but it works out quite well for me !
My parents attended a marriage in a friend's home, but i and bro played till we got frustrated to max. I even went to the extreme, and Deleted AOM. I said..DELETED.
But then what did i do ? I foolishly opened One Piece manga that i had downloaded a long time ago, and started reading it. Crazy me !
But Luffy's even crazy, the protagonist in One Piece. Great creativity in the series though !
I plan to unveil my photographic manipulation techniques tomorrow , after a lot of tutorials in noon, and you can find my finished works in my picture blog on the 19th.
So good night. Sleep well (not oversleep)
Bye Bye.
P.S I fixed the second cooler in the house, and i have it all for myself.Working heaven at the bedside ! Bye now !
